The Lighira are a very rare species of Sylesti that are only ever found in the wild during a specific time of the summer. During this time period, they can be found all over the kingdom in warm climates. During the remainder of the year, it is not known where they go. Some believe that they hide in deep underground caves while others think they magically teleport to some alternate plane. What is known is that when they do disappear each year, they will not reappear for approximately 50 weeks.

Bizarrely, Lighiras that are tamed remain in Sylestia permanently. It is not known whether they are magically bound to Sylestia or if they simply are loyal to their owners.

The Lighiras themselves are a Fabled Species .

Behavior[]

Lighiras have a very wide range of personalities. Some are timid, some are playful, while others are aggressive and fierce. If you find a wild Lighira, you should always wait to see how it reacts to you before approaching it. Those that act aggressive towards you should be avoided.

Lighiras are also very family-oriented. It is not uncommon to spot a Lighira spending most of its time with its mate and offspring. This can make taming a Lighira especially tricky if it has a mate and/or offspring. However, those that do successfully tame a Lighira can expect a very close bond with their new companion.

Breeding[]

As with all Fabled species, female Lighiras require 7 days to recover after producing an egg, however the eggs, as with all eggs, hatch within 2-3 days depending on how much they are nurtured.

Physical Features[]

Lighiras are very powerful and agile creatures. The combination of their strength and agility is almost unmatched by any other Sylesti. Males are easily disnguishable from Females due to the thick manes around their necks. For offensive abilities, Lighiras use their powerful hind legs and large front paws to pounce and claw at their foes.

Additionally, some Lighiras are seen wearing various armor. These armors can be as intimidating as spiked armor or as beautiful as jeweled armor. Some Lighiras have also been seen with various types of wings including the majestic flame wings. Lastly, other Lighiras have intricate horns that are used for intimadation or for protection during a fierce battle.
